Aviko have been supplying added value potato products such as chips, wedges, hash browns to the foodservice sector for the past 30 years. The brand created a range of distinct Gastro Gratins with premium ingredients & flavours that were launched into retailers such as Waitrose. The position of the new range was to be ‘worth paying more for’, ‘natural’ & ‘gastro’ quality in design and across all touch points for the range.
The developed idea behind this design was focussed on bringing together luxury dining with a rustic gastro restaurant approach by means of sophisticated black background colours, highlights of gold and chalk board style typography. This created a strong, but refined look that appealed to the premium retailer Waitrose.
